004

Ridgeview Construction is embarking on yet another new construction project, this time right on the Great Bay in Durham.  We are completely demolishing the existing home, including the foundation, while preserving the natural beauty of the lot.  The architect’s plans will create an attractive structure with a very energy efficient design.  This family home will have fantastic views of the Great Bay while utilizing passive solar positioning along with hot water provided by solar power.  The walls will be insulated with cellulose; the roof will be metal with natural cedar shingles on the exterior.  This is sure to be a great example of the potential of green building.
